There was a 5 month delay between the ordering and the delivery of my car. This was due to shortages in manufacturing, but it meant I did not know when my new car would be arriving.

The service desk staff were first class, but my recent visit was my third visit in 4 weeks after buying the car and because those carrying out the service had missed things.

Only paid for what I was booked in for. No pushy sales tactics. Was offered an engine additive at my expense but informed it wasn't needed as part of the service schedule. Paid for it anyway. Sounded like a good idea.

The only thing I would recommend is that the Irvine branch find a solution to the parking problems customers face. That's the most stressful part of any visit, you worry about finding a space or bumping into very expensive vehicles. Blocking off cars

I found the customer service experience extremely good from the Irvine branch. It made a welcome change from the previous experience that I had at the Hillington BMW Arnold Clark branch which was in no way positive from beginning to end.

Have to ask 2/3 times to get things I need. Still waiting for details of which assistance package I have with the car - If it is the basic package I will need to buy breakdown insurance separately. Also The logbook came in my name not the company.

Booked AC Glasgow to book car in. Helpful member of staff. Call day before from Jamie Jarvis, who noted we would be a 'waiting' appointment. Video sent showing tyre tread and suspension, brakes etc. Call less than 3 hours later when car was ready.

My car was booked in for a major service. 5 days after picking the car up, the screen wash warning light came on after only a few sprays onto the windscreen. I would have thought the screen wash fill up was part of a major service!

I left one star out because since my service, my window wiper water dispenser has been getting gradually weaker and now it has stopped working altogether. Not saying it was the fault of BMW, just thought maybe it would have been caught before now.
